On June 1, 2021, after sixteen months of validating that Indigenous communities and businesses, industry, and governments would prefer to purchase their business supplies from an Indigenous-owned distributor—one that gives back to Indigenous communities—eSupply Canada will be launching its new ecommerce platform; becoming a full-service business partner.
Launched in February 2020, eSupply Canada is a national online distributor of office, janitorial, and industrial supplies that was established to give Indigenous communities and businesses an alternative to the big box retailers, and to give industry and governments a credible option to deliver on their commitments to supporting Indigenous businesses through increased partnerships and procurement opportunities.
Over the past year, eSupply Canada has partnered with a number of manufacturers and distributors, and will be bringing them all under one roof through its new ecommerce website. According to Steven Vanloffeld (Anishinaabe), eSupply Canada’s Founder and CEO, the new website will be a one-stop-source for everything business related.
“When I launched this company, I set out with the vision for it to become the Wayfair of the office, janitorial and industrial supplies categories, so our customers could find everything in one place that they needed to keep operations running. On June 1, with the launch of our new website, we deliver on that vision and become a full-service business partner.”
The new will website will include:
- A centralized ecommerce marketplace that brings together thousands of industry-leading manufacturers
- An online safety training platform of over 1,400 courses
- An option for Indigenous manufacturers to bring their products to a wider market
- Information on how to become a future eSupply Canada franchisee
With fulfilment centres in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec, there’s no Band Office, front desk or job site that eSupply Canada cannot get to. eSupply Canada has the supplies communities, businesses and governments need, from the front office to the job site and everywhere in between.
